Our local guides know Lofoten and will take you on trips that are avalanche-proof and give you fantastic views over the Vestfjord and towards mainland Norway. We use light TUBB snowshoes that are easy to walk in, give good movement for the foot and have grip claws for hard surfaces. Some also want to rent poles to walk with and we also have telescopic poles for this.
It is an advantage to use mountain boots or similar, which keep you warm and steady to walk with.
