About this experience

Lofoten Opplevelser arranges Sea Eagle/Grey Seals safaris from 15.06 to 31.08 for individuals. Out of season, by agreement. Nordland is the Sea Eagle’s kingdom, here is the largest concentration of Sea Eagles in the whole world. In the immediate area outside Henningsvær, we have several pairs, each with its own territory.

We go out in large rib boats that provide close contact with nature and wildlife. If the weather permits, we’ll go out to an Orchard colony and try to find the Grey Seals. They can be 300 kg and about 3 meters long. If we’re lucky, we also come across Minke whales, Porpoises or Killer Whales. On the trip, we admire the wild landscape and Vågakallen, which is one of Lofoten’s highest and most fabled mountains.

Additional information

To bring: Super underwear/wool underwear, scarf, hat, gloves, preferably an extra change. Good shoes, sweater, preferably a windbreaker, gloves, hat and scarf. You may also want to bring a waterproof bag for your camera!
