Enjoy the evening and the silence of the kayak
Kayaking experience in the beautiful evening summer light. When you embark in a sea kayak you practically sit on the surface of the sea and can navigate it using your own bodily strength.
The evening light makes the experience extra special and the light for photography is brilliant. You will appreciate Lofoten’s dramatic mountains from a wholly new perspective when you paddle up close to them. It is an experience almost as majestic as standing on top of them.
We use stable double kayaks on our trips. The combination of silence, raw nature on all sides and full freedom of motion makes sea kayaking one of our most popular adventures. You cannot get closer to nature than this.
Our guide meets you at our base in Svolvær harbor and provides the necessary instructions and adjusts your equipment for the trip.
The trip is tailored to suit those who wish to try out kayaking or who have little experience, but who also wish to learn about Lofoten’s history and culture from the coastline. The area we kayak from Svolvær harbor is calm and well-suited for beginners. No qualifications are necessary.

Clothing: we recommend comfortable outdoors clothing and sneakers.
Dress according to the conditions, but remember that in the summer it can be cold in Lofoten. Casual clothes that can withstand a little moisture and a rain jacket are good to have.
